Fruit
- 2 punnets of strawberries
- 5 bananas
- 5 lemons
- 6 pieces of low GI fruit – choose from peach, nectarine, plum, apricots, pears, apples, citrus fruits and mixed berries
- 4 cups of frozen or fresh blueberries (4 punnets)
- 3 pears
Vegetables
- 3 large field mushrooms
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 punnet of cherry tomatoes
- 3 avocadoes
- 2 bunches of broccolini
- 4 large handfuls of mixed leafy greens
- 3 carrots
- 6 big handfuls of baby spinach
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- 200gms of green or yellow beans
- 1 bunch of asparagus
- 2 zucchini
- 2 red onions
- 1 bunch of celery
- 250gms cavolo nero (Tuscan cabbage) or silverbeet
- 250gms sweet potato
- 1 brown onion
- A handful of snow peas
- 1 small red capsicum
- 1 small cos lettuce
- 1 small Lebanese cucumber
- 1 leek
Grain
- 1 cup of oats
- A loaf of good quality bread (rye, wholemeal, spelt etc)
- 280gms wholemeal flour
Nuts and Seeds
- 100gms of ground linseed (flaxseed)
- 50gms of chopped almonds
- 100gms of pumpkin seeds
- 100gms of sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup almond meal
Herbs and spices
- Powdered cinnamon
- 1 bulb of garlic
- Mustard seeds
- Ground cumin
- Smoked paprika
- Ground fennel seeds
- 1 small bunch of parsley
- 1 small bunch of basil
- 1 pinch of dried red chilli (optional)
Chicken, Fish, Meat etc
- A dozen eggs
- 160gms of free range chicken breast
- 120gms of freerange skinless chicken thigh meat
- 250gms of beef mince
- 250gms fresh skinless and boneless salmon fillet
- 1 small tin of tuna in spring water or 100gms of turkey
Dairy
- 250gms of feta (dairy, goats, sheeps)
- 550mL of your choice of milk (dairy, rice, almond, coconut)
- 500gms of yoghurt (dairy, goats, sheeps)
- 150gms of ricotta cheese
Canned goods
- 3 tins of canned tomatoes – crushed
- 125gms cannellini beans (cooked/canned)
- 200gms of red kidney beans (cooked/canned)
Beverages
- Sparkling water
- Herbal Tea
- Organic coffee – one black coffee with no sugar if necessary
- Freshly squeezed juices – celery, carrot, ginger and parsley. If you are going to make your juices at home, you will need to add extra ingredients to your shopping list.
Other
- Hot English mustard
- Chicken or vegetable stock (low salt)
- 1 ½ tsp of instant dried yeast
- Tomato paste
- A small handful of kalamata olives
- A tub of hummus
- Olive oil & Olive oil spray, extra virgin
- Balsamic vinegar
- White wine vinegar
