About Miscarriage
About 15 to 20% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage.
Most are what we call a single pregnancy loss - an isolated instance of miscarriage that is nature’s way of stopping a pregnancy that is not proceeding as it should.
You can find out more about pregnancy loss – and single pregnancy loss in particular - in this section, by reading the articles in this section.
Sometimes, couples experience more than one miscarriage. This is called recurrent pregnancy loss. If you are in this situation, please read the recurrent pregnancy loss section after you have read this section.
