A guide to Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD)

With every IVF cycle that produces more than one embryo, a choice must be made as to which embryo will be transferred to the uterus.

In standard IVF, the choice is determined by such things as appearance and development. 

Pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) gives us another factor on which to base our decision -the genetic health of the embryo.
