At Genea Canberra, all fertility services are available at the one venue as the clinic is equipped to perform all assisted conception procedures, including egg pick-up and embryo transfer.
We have labs onsite at Genea Canberra so your precious eggs, sperm and embryos don’t have to travel for services either. Our scientists and embryologists use world leading technologies for IVF, sperm function testing, genetic diagnosis including PGD and specialised IVF procedures such as ICSI, assisted hatching and embryo biopsy. Sperm and embryo freezing and cryostorage are also available.
You can make arrangements to come in and meet our nurses and embryologists (who look after your eggs, sperm and embryos) at any stage of your cycle. You will also have access to our specialist fertility counsellors at no extra costs as part of your cycle. We also have a fully equipped ultrasound suite with state-of-the-art equipment. At Genea Canberra, we run morning clinic Monday to Saturday between 7:00am and 8:45am. A nurse is available between 7:30am and 8:45am. You don’t need to make an appointment for your blood tests but you do need to make one for your ultrasound. All ultrasounds are strictly by appointment. To book an ultrasound appointment please call 02 6260 3400.
For patients from regional areas, we can arrange for you to have your blood tests and ultrasounds at local centres in these areas.

Genea Canberra is open for pathology services giving you access to Genea’s suite of genetic screening tests, such as GeneScreenCF™ and GeneSyte™ prenatal screening or any other general pathology requested by your doctor.
You can call us on 1300 652 687 to make an appointment for a time that is convenient for you. To ensure fast service please book in advance, however, walk ins will be accommodated.
