Alison graduated from the University of Sydney in 1994 and obtained a Master of Reproductive Health and Human Genetics in 1999. She undertook specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Sydney’s Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and was awarded the College Medal in the membership examination in 2000.
In 2001, Alison joined Genea (then called Sydney IVF) as an accredited fertility specialist and in 2006 she achieved the sub-specialist Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI). Alison’s sub specialist training was undertaken at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Westmead Hospital and Sydney IVF.
Alison is also a Visiting Medical Officer at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital - treating patients for infertility and recurrent miscarriage - and a Visiting Medical Officer at St Luke’s Private Hospital.
