There can be a lot to take in when your Fertility Specialist first explains the plan for your fertility treatment and we understand it can be hard trying to get your head around the steps involved and what you need to do when. Especially because you want to give yourself the best chance of your treatment being successful.
Your nursing team and patient relationship coordinator will explain the process for your specific treatment in detail but we have also included information over the following pages should you want to dig a little deeper or need a refresher.
We’ve outlined your options for support during your treatment – whether you’re looking for emotional support through counselling or if acupuncture for stress release is what you need, especially during the wait to find out if your treatment has been successful - the challenging two week wait (2WW).
Alongside our world leading science, the high level of personalised care we provide to our patients is something we are very proud of and we believe is a key difference to other clinics. We always ask our patients for feedback after their treatment.
If you have any concerns or feedback - good or otherwise - along the way, please let us know so we can help sort your issue and improve our care.
Sometimes reading about other people’s experiences can be a good way to gain some perspective on your own situation. Our patients often tell us hearing that they’re not alone in having trouble conceiving helped them cope better with their own journey.
We know that during a cycle and the Two Week Wait there are a lot of questions you will think of, both during the day and the middle of the night.
To ease your anxieties we have prepared a "When do I call" guide for you explaining what you should do in certain circumstances, whether you should come in, or if you need to call the nursing line.
If you are an existing patient, please call us on 1300 880 079 and we will be better able to assist you with your call.
