On 10 August 2022, Genea Fertility was a platinum sponsor of the Australian Jewish Fertility Network’s (AJFN) annual major fundraising event. The night had everything including a raffle, live original music performances, immersive media and candid, emotional stories. All proceeds from the event go towards helping the 44 families in the Jewish community who need help to try to create their miracle baby.
Jenna Pinchuck, a Genea Kent St Embryologist and Sarah Reid, a Genea Kent St Fertility Counsellor, starred in the original theatrical production presented on the evening –
It Takes a Village to Create Miracles. Both Jenna and Sarah, who are volunteers of AJFN, played themselves in the real-life IVF story of a young couple in the Jewish community going through their IVF journey.
In the Jewish community, most rabbis agree that the commandment to populate the world is so important that many technological developments for assisting infertile couples are permitted by Jewish law. With one in six families experiencing infertility, the AJFN believes that no Australian Jewish couple should ever feel alone on their fertility journey. They deserve support to build the next generation. That is why the donations from this event make it possible for AJFN to continue to provide financial assistance, emotional support, education and advocacy for those in the Jewish community who are struggling to build their families.
