Your role

As a Day Surgery Nurse at Genea you will support our couples on their journey to having a healthy baby. It is emotional, challenging and ultimately fulfilling knowing that you can make the difference in caring for our patients.
  
You will join a dedicated team of nurses responsible for providing scrub, scout, anaesthetics and recovery assistance to our patients.
 
To be considered for this role you  must be a registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years demonstrated  experience.  You will have a passion for women's health, you like to have fun at work but also like to work hard.  You will love working as an integral member of a team, to care for and support our patients and your colleagues.
 
Your day:

  • Educating Patients with regard to their treatment through the delivery of pre and post operation instruction
  • Provision of safe and efficient pre, peri and post operative care for patients in the Day Surgery by assisting our medical practitioners with treatment in recovery, procedure room and operating theatre
  • Communicating effectively with our patients and their partners regarding their care and treatment
  • Dispensing fertility medication and providing clear and concise direction to patients for the self administration of IVF drugs
