Endometriosis is a common gynaecological condition affecting more than 10% of women in their reproductive age. It is found in 30% of women with infertility. Approach to management of infertile women with endometriosis needs to be individualised, but this can be confusing for general practitioners. At the end of this presentation, the GP should have a clear idea of the key management issues in endometriosis and infertility, how to counsel their patients, when to reassure and when to refer on. |
Fertility Preservation for Medical & Social Indications
 Speaker: Dr Anthony Marren
The number of women investigating Egg Freezing is increasing and GPs are on the front line. Dr Rachael Rodgers will explain the egg freezing process, discuss patient suitability and advise how to counsel and refer patients. This meeting will also provide an overview of fertility preservation for medical indications. |
