Age is a key factor in a woman's ability to conceive, a fact increasingly being recognised by women. This growing understanding of the finite nature of fertility, means more women are investigating Egg Freezing and consulting their GP for advice. This educational event will help GPs become more knowledgeable on the dilemma facing many young women and give them an understanding of who egg freezing is suitable for and how to advise, counsel and refer patients. Dr Rachael Rodgers will explain the processes involved in egg freezing and outline expected patient outcomes. This meeting will also provide an overview of fertility preservation for medical indications.
