The growing Northern Beaches community made Manly an obvious choice for the location of a new Genea clinic, opened in 2013.
Located in the heart of the beachside suburb, Genea Manly provides locals with easier access to world leading fertility treatment and monitoring services close to home.
The clinic offers consultations with Fertility Specialist Dr Helen Peric and Genea nurses. We also provide access to diagnostic testing. All blood and cycle monitoring, including ultrasound scans will be performed locally for the convenience of patients living on the Northern Beaches.
While your comprehensive lead-up to treatment is conducted locally (blood tests, ultrasounds, nurse consultations etc), our Manly clinic patients will have their main procedures in Sydney CBD under the dedicated care of Dr Helen Peric. This allows all patients access to the full range of Genea's leading-edge scientific fertility techniques, such as IVF, IUI, ICSI, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and other services.
Morning clinic at Genea Manly runs Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 9:00am for blood tests and ultrasounds (excluding public holidays). Further details can be found in Monitoring Centres.
Genea Manly is open for pathology services to eliminate the need for you to travel into the city for Genea’s suite of genetic screening tests, such GeneSyte prenatal screening or any other general pathology requested by your doctor.
To ensure fast service please book in advance, however, walk ins will be accommodated. Please refer to Pathology Centres for further information.
We know that once you begin your cycle - especially if it’s the first time - you will have a lot on your mind. To try to make things easier, here are a few pieces of local knowledge:
It’s usually quite easy to get a parking spot outside the Manly clinic but if you miss out, the council carpark underneath Coles is free for two hours and is a two minute walk to the clinic.
There are a number of coffee shops on the same block at Genea Manly which open from 6:30am.
We stock most of the medications you will need but Malouf Manly Pharmacy (52 The Corso, Manly) also stocks some of the more common ones and it’s open seven days a week.
