Biography
Dr Tween Low’s approach to helping people create families is based on honesty and humility. Her practice is evidence based and individualised and she truly appreciates the opportunity to interact with her patients, supporting and accompanying them on what can be a challenging journey.
Tween takes a holistic approach to her patients' management. She always provides options for patients and ensures they understand their medical treatment. Her style is honest and realistic, yet kind and unwavering in her support for her patients.
Tween graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1994 and trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Canberra and Sydney. She obtained her specialist qualification from The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2004 and became an accredited Fertility Specialist with Genea (then Sydney IVF) a year later.
Tween has a Master in Reproductive Medicine and is an experienced laparoscopic surgeon. Her special interest is endometriosis related infertility, application of pre-implantation genetic diagnosis and fertility preservation. She is experienced in managing all forms of infertility and her advice is frequently sought for second opinions.
Tween is a Visiting Medical Officer at John James Calvary Hospital, Canberra Private Hospital and a senior staff specialist at the Centenary Hospital for Women and Children. She is the Integrated Training Program coordinator for ACT and is heavily involved in Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in Canberra.
Tween is a lecturer and clinical supervisor at the Australian National University Medical School. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, listening to music, cooking and feeding her family.
