Biography
Dr Julianne Cameron is a compassionate fertility specialist and obstetrician dedicated to helping women and couples achieve their goal of starting or expanding their families. She provides expert, holistic care throughout all stages of the journey, from conception to birth, and is a strong advocate for continuity of care.
Julianne completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Melbourne in 2005. She undertook her residency and specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at The Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, followed by a fellowship in Reproductive Medicine through the Reproductive Services Unit at The Royal Women’s.
In addition to her clinical training, Julianne holds a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Immunology and Virology from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales, reflecting her strong commitment to advancing reproductive health through both research and clinical practice.
Julianne has a special passion and interest in caring for women who have experienced recurrent pregnancy loss, complex fertility issues, or previous traumatic births. She also cares for patients who may need sensitive, reassuring obstetric care with additional support during their pregnancy and the option of elective caesarean section for the birth of their baby. She offers gentle, personalised support thoughtfully tailored to each person’s individual history.
Julianne’s patients describe her as incredibly nurturing, attentive, and a doctor who truly listens to her patients. She is known for taking the time to understand each individual or couple’s unique situation, offering both medical expertise and genuine emotional support throughout their journey.
