Biography
Dr Alex Hubczenko is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He is committed to providing the highest level of patient care tailoring each couple’s treatment to suit their personal circumstances and needs. He firmly believes that patient education and involvement in all aspects of their care is essential.
He graduated from the University of Adelaide before embarking on his specialist qualifications. His special interests are in the management of male/female subfertility, endometriosis, PCOS, recurrent miscarriages, pelvic floor prolapse and urinary incontinence.
Currently, as a senior staff specialist at the Lyell McEwin Hospital, he is Head of the Pelvic Floor Team and also supervises fertility management within the public hospital. His surgical skills range from advanced minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery for investigating sub-fertility and the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis through to incontinence and prolapse surgery.
