Dr Pip Gale

Dr Pip Gale is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a specialty interest in infertility and egg freezing. She provides women of the Illawarra with infertility services as well as practicing private Obstetrics through her specialist women’s clinic Amelie Private and delivers at Wollongong Private Hospital. She is a VMO (visiting medical office) at Wollongong Public Hospital

Having practiced private Obstetrics in the Illawarra for nearly ten years, Dr Gale enjoys following patients through the journey of helping women start a family and then following the care of pregnancy and birth.

Dr Gale has lived in the Illawarra for the last twenty years. She studied at the University of Tasmania, and completed her specialty training at St George Hospital, Sydney. She has worked in Tasmania, remote Western Australia (East Kimberley) and lived in France. She has worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for the last 18 years, concentrating on Obstetrics for the last 6 years, which is her passion. She is a codirector of women’s health practice, Amelie Private, Wollongong, which complements working with Genea, providing specialist services and holistic care for infertility patients, offering an endometriosis and gynaecology service endocrinologists, dieticians, psychologists, physiotherapists and naturopaths. Dr Gale provides caring, individualised and evidence based fertility and Obstetric care.

Dr Gale has three lively boys and has a French husband whom she met while studying in the French Alps. She keeps fit and active, loves travelling, being outdoors, skiing, speaking French and trying to keep up with her boys.
