15 September 2025: In Time: Giving young people with cancer the chance of a family in the future
The Women’s In Time program helps children and young people with cancer preserve their fertility at no cost, offering hope alongside life-saving treatment.
Dr Genia Rozen says every child, no matter where they live in Australia, should have the chance to safeguard their fertility. For families facing the shock of a childhood cancer diagnosis, the opportunity to preserve fertility provides a rare moment of optimism about their child’s future.
Through a national network, In Time will provide a transport and cryopreservation service, train and support clinicians across Australia, and drive research to make fertility preservation safer and more effective.
