Large study of 9 million pregnancies finds possible link between gestational diabetes and ADHD/autism risk, but experts stress genetics remain strongest factor.
A major study involving more than nine million pregnancies has suggested a possible link between gestational diabetes and an increased risk of ADHD and autism in children. He highlights that genetics remain the strongest driver of these conditions, with other factors such as lifestyle and socioeconomic background also playing a role.
