The Estimated Out-of-pocket cost is based on your Safety Net spending for the calendar year and individual circumstances. After your consultation with one of our Fertility Specialists you will be given an individualised estimate of all fees and rebates. Patients who are not eligible for Medicare should call for further fee information.
^Day surgery costs
Depending on your level of cover, your Private Health Insurance provider might contribute toward your Day Surgery procedure costs. Please contact the Day Surgery Unit to obtain prices. Embryo transfers and IUI can be performed at Genea Brisbane and will cost $380 (non-claimable). If there is an anaesthetist at your Day Surgery procedure then this will incur an additional fee.
Fertility treatment rebate
As well as bulk-billed fertility consultations, a number of our fertility treatments at Genea may qualify you for Medicare rebates. Most Medicare card holders will be eligible for a rebate with a current referral from your GP or fertility specialist. This helps more people access low-cost IVF in Brisbane.
