Experience and qualifications

Dr Dalton completed her medical training at the Australian National University in 2012, before relocating to Adelaide for her internship in 2013. She has since worked across major metropolitan hospitals in Adelaide and Darwin, building broad clinical experience in obstetrics, gynaecology and reproductive medicine across a range of settings and presentations.

She commenced specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2016 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). She is also in the final stages of completing her subspecialty training in IVF and reproductive endocrinology through the Certificate of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), one of the most advanced qualifications available to a fertility specialist in Australia.

At Genea Canberra, Anna manages all aspects of fertility care and performs clinical procedures including oocyte retrievals, embryo transfers, intrauterine inseminations (IUI) and surgical sperm retrieval. She also supports patients through fertility care in the context of endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), thyroid disorders, and pre-conception planning for patients with other medical conditions.
