Biography
Dr Aseel Alkiaat is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist who has been working in the field since 2006. She completed her training at King Edward Memorial Hospital, well known for its high risk patients, which has made Dr Alkiaat highly competent in caring for high risk pregnancy patients. Throughout her career, she has worked at many different hospitals around Perth, including Osborne Park and Joondalup, as well as several rural hospitals.
In recent years, Dr Alkiaat has been working as the Head of Service, Maternity Unit at Bentley Health Service, and practises as a private obstetrician at St John of God Murdoch. She is passionate about women's health and education, and enjoys working with women to support them through different stages of their lives in both the public and private sectors.
She has recently undertaken the faculty position of Adjunct Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Curtin Medical School.
In 2019, Dr Alkiaat received her Masters in Reproduction and Endocrinology from the University of New South Wales.
