Biography

Dr Genia Rozen integrates clinical excellence with her passion for research to ensure that patients are given the best treatment for their fertility and gynaecological problems. Her approach revolves around holistic, personalised and genuine care, creating a nurturing environment to support her patients journey towards building their family.


Dr Rozen looks after couples with infertility, both male and female, single women and same sex couples, using minimally assisted medical treatments, insemination and IVF. She sees patients for fertility preservation, second opinion consultations, minimally assisted surgery and provides comprehensive fertility expertise.


Genia is actively involved in the Reproductive Unit at RWH, where she also sub-leads the Fertility Preservation Service. Dr Rozen mentors students, holds a senior clinical lecturer position at Melbourne University, and presents research at local and international conferences.


Dr Rozen completed her medical and surgical degree with honours at Monash University. Further study in Obstetrics and Gynaecology was undertaken at Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, where she also undertook 3 more years of training in the reproduction and infertility. She completed the Masters of Reproductive Medicine at UNSW, before undertaking a PhD aimed at helping women conceive after cancer and uterine receptivity. In 2015, Dr Rozen was awarded the National Health and Medical Research Council Scholarship to investigate uterine fitness for pregnancy following radiation.
