Australia's first AI-powered patient insight tool

In partnership with Cercle AI, Genea is the first fertility provider in Australia to introduce an AI-powered patient insight tool built on our real-world data.

Cercle AI analysed over one billion global data points, together with Genea data, to deliver a tool that generates personalised insights across multiple cycles, including egg retrieval expectations and treatment pathway considerations, to help patients make more informed decisions with their specialist. Rather than relying on general population averages, your specialist can more easily access data that relates specifically to someone with your profile, history, and circumstances.

This tool doesn't make decisions. It helps inform them. Your specialist reviews the patient insights alongside everything else they know about you, and together you decide on the path forward.

One view across our entire network

Genea has always collected clinical and laboratory data across our network. What has changed is how we can access and act on it.

We have built a centralised data platform that brings together clinical and laboratory information from across all Genea clinics into a single, connected system. For the first time, our clinic and lab managers can view their own performance data in real time and see how their outcomes compare across the network, identifying patterns and applying insights from one location to benefit patients everywhere.

This is not new data. It is existing data made accessible, comparable, and actionable in a way it has never been before. For example, when a clinic in Canberra achieves an exceptional blastocyst rate using a particular protocol, that insight becomes visible to the whole network. Raising the standard of embryo grading

Every embryo developed in our Geri® incubator is continuously monitored through time-lapse imaging. Those images are now processed through the Cercle AI platform to support quality control and help standardise embryo grading across our team of embryologists.

Embryo grading is a skilled, expert process, but like any human assessment, it can be subject to variability between individuals. AI-assisted grading works alongside our embryologists assessment, providing a consistent reference point that ensures every embryo is evaluated to the same standard, regardless of which embryologist is assessing it or which clinic they are based at.
