What to expect throughout your journey
Your contribution to the egg donor program is a profoundly life-changing experience, not only for your future intended parent/s but yourself, too. Our team is committed to providing clear communication, respectful treatment, and comprehensive support throughout your entire donor journey, from the moment you first make contact to long after you’ve completed your donation process.
Every year, our donor coordinator will be in touch to update you on the impact of your donation, including the number, ages, and gender of any children born through your generous contribution. Your donation will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.

Understanding legal requirements
Each Australian state and territory has specific legal requirements governing egg donation that you must understand before proceeding. A good grasp of your legal responsibilities will help to inform realistic expectations and make your egg donor experience go more smoothly.
As an egg donor in Australia, you:
- Are not entitled to payment for your eggs (though reasonable expenses for participating in the donor process may be reimbursed)
- Consent to having your identity disclosed to any children conceived through your donation once they come of age
- Do not have any legal rights or obligations towards the children conceived through your donor eggs
- Must also gain consent from your long-term partner (if you have one) to participate in the egg donor program
